Stop wasting the taxpayer’s money!! Let the UAW and the detroit auto makers work out their problems. Their union contracts are outrageous and they continue to expect the American Public to maintain their life style.

Concentrate on bailing out the American Taxpayer, rather than individual businesses. We can’t afford to buy new cars anyway!

Now somone wants to institute presidental inauguration day as a national holiday. This is only because Barack pushes himself off as being black, we don’t need another federal holiday for the government employees to have yet another day off during the year.

Finally, the election is over, we have a newly elected President circling the White House.

Again we realize the outdated Electoral College waving the “Landslide” victory flag which is greatly exagerrated. Reality is Mr. Obama had approximately 51% of the popular vote while Mr. McCain had approximately 46%. This organization fails to recognize these numbers as representative of a “Landslide” victory.

Clearly, the electoral college has outlived it’s usefullness and should be abandoned immediately. Additionally, taxpayer dollars are no longer to be spent on “Video Game” quality of voting machines! All too frequently we hear complaints of individual machines not recording votes correctly or failing completely.

This nation should be voting at all levels through an internet site. Security levels are available, as demonstrated with many other site currently in operation. Voting will be available to those who otherwise don’t get to the polling place. Voter turnout will increase at all levels. Unless the politicians of this country actually don’t want too many people voting?

It’s 2008, spend our money on a viable, national voting system.

Both candidates continue to tell us what they are going to be taxing us on. Increased taxes for health care, taxing health care, etc. etc. etc. Someone is missing the boat! We, the taxpaying citizens of the United States will tell you what we’ll be taxed on! What we’ll pay taxes on!!

NOT the elected representatives, classic case of the tail wagging the dog!!

All we’ve been hearing from our candidates is all of these changes they are proposing. How each will change the country. Three out of four have been in the United states senate for several years. Where have they been? Why haven’t they proposed any of these changes until now? Why did all of them wait until now to attempt help the American Taxpayer? We can’t afford any additional taxes or word games resulting in higher or additional taxes. Obviously our representatives can’t manage our money.
