What’s going on that’s relevant for the majority of taxpayers? This is the spot to point it out, keep involved in the news or to highlight a particular response or interview etc with an elected official or someone who knows how the government works.

Dear Representative,

Please accept this letter as an introduction to “We The People”

While living in western Pennsylvania, the Congressman H. John Heinz routinely sent questionnaires to the constituents in his district advising them us of the major issues to be voted on, his recommendations and basically asking the taxpayers how they wanted him to vote.

It goes without saying; our elected officials have lost the vision of why they are where they are, to represent the Taxpayer, not just the voters or big business in their district.

We The people will publish a regular letter addressing items affecting the American taxpayer every day. Everyone throughout the country will be able to view these publications and enter their position on the subject. Individual positions will be tallied, displayed at the bottom of the letter and mailed directly to each of you.

This site will also provide you with Zip Code organized demographics as to where the voting is generated and you will have a channel to respond.

It is our belief the elected officials of this country are responsible to the taxpayers of your district, you are our voice in government, and it is, however, our responsibility to let you know what we want and need to continue living in a free society.

Sincerely,

We The People

Regaining control of our Government!

All too often, taxpaying citizens of this country, write to their elected representatives only to recieve a “Boiler Plate” response, poorly addressing their actual concerns. Have you ever wondered how many other people wrote on the same subject?

It appears our elected officials have lost sight of their true direction, to represent the taxpayers of the United States of America. Congressmen & senators are accountable to US, we are NOT accountable to them.

Frequently, people we have placed in office to represent us are able to hide behind their office and staff of assistants, knowing an individual letter from a taxpayer stands alone. Only one voice, easy to ignore with an unacceptable excuse of how things are. It’s time to notify our elected officials of the actual issues affecting the average taxpayer every day, while demanding action.

“We The People” will issue an article beginning on a monthly basis, you can read the article and vote. You tell us whether you agree, disagree or choose to abstain.

No matter which way you vote it is important you vote! This will show your congressmen & senators yoou’ve read the issue and voiced an opinion.

At the end of the month, the letter will be printed, displaying the voting results and mailed to all United States Congressmen & Senators. When you vote, we will be asking for a minimum of your zip code, this will help identify voting locations which will in turn assist elected officials in determining what responses were generated from their respective districts.

Additionally, we have a “Daily Issue” for your review and the ability to respond to the site authors.

This site is currently in a growth cycle, we are operating on your donations, we need your support!

You can donate to buy us postage stamps or make donations with the return of several thank you gifts.

Thank You
